How do I invite my partner?

Best on two phones: you invite from yours; your partner joins on theirs. Right after you sign up, you'll see "You're in. Now get your partner." — share the invite link or 8-character code from that screen. Your partner creates their account on their own phone and joins at couplepay.app. Already in the app? Open Settings → Couple anytime to share the same link or code.

Can I use CouplePay without a partner?

Yes. Track and plan solo. When you're ready, invite from Settings → Couple — your partner joins on their own phone with your invite link or 8-character code.

What is the Avalanche strategy?

Avalanche targets your highest APR card first. It saves the most money in interest over time — typically hundreds or thousands of dollars compared to Snowball.

What is the Snowball strategy?

Snowball targets your lowest balance card first. You pay it off faster, which can build momentum and motivation — even if it costs slightly more in interest than Avalanche.

How is the debt-free date calculated?

CouplePay runs a month-by-month amortization across all your cards using your current balances, APRs, minimum payments, and any extra monthly payment you've set.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings and tap "Leave Couple". If you're the last member, all household data is permanently deleted. To request full account deletion, email us at privacy@couplepayapp.com.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never store card numbers, account numbers, or any banking credentials — only the planning data you enter manually.

Can I install CouplePay as an app?

Yes — CouplePay is a responsive web app you can install today (not a native store app yet). On Android Chrome or desktop Chrome: Settings → Install CouplePay. On iPhone: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. There is no native Android / Play Store app. The first native app will be iOS on the App Store — coming soon.
