How do I invite my partner?

Go to Settings and scroll to the Couple section. You'll see a 6-character invite code — share this with your partner. They can enter it at couplepay.app after creating their account.

Can I use CouplePay without a partner?

Yes. You can track and plan your own debt solo. Your partner can join later using the invite code in Settings.

What is the Avalanche strategy?

Avalanche targets your highest APR card first. It saves the most money in interest over time — typically hundreds or thousands of dollars compared to Snowball.

What is the Snowball strategy?

Snowball targets your lowest balance card first. You pay it off faster, which can build momentum and motivation — even if it costs slightly more in interest than Avalanche.

How is the debt-free date calculated?

CouplePay runs a month-by-month amortization across all your cards using your current balances, APRs, minimum payments, and any extra monthly payment you've set.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings and tap "Leave Couple". If you're the last member, all household data is permanently deleted. To request full account deletion, email us at [email protected].

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never store card numbers, account numbers, or any banking credentials — only the planning data you enter manually.

Can I install CouplePay as an app?

Yes — on Android and desktop Chrome, open Settings and tap "Install CouplePay". On iOS Safari, tap the Share button then "Add to Home Screen". A native iOS app is coming soon.
